Small Groups are the heart of NewStory Church. These groups are where we find a place to belong, grow together in faith, and positively impact the world around us. Small Groups provide an environment that helps make the NewStory community your own. Find a group near where you live or work or even online, and get connected today!

Small Groups (SGs) are gatherings of 5 to 15 people that meet regularly to connect with people at NewStory Church near you or online. They exist to provide a place where you can make friends, follow Jesus, and make a difference. Whether you’re looking for a Men’s, Women’s, Couples, or Singles group, there is one you can join to connect and grow spiritually in the context of community.

Our SGs meeting date and time vary slightly per group. Generally, our SGs meet regularly in the evenings throughout the year with built-in breaks during the summer months for some family groups and winter holiday season.

Starting a group is easy. We have a simple process to get to know you and provide orientation and training that you are prepared both spiritually and practically to lead a group. If you are interested in leading or co-leading a small group, please contact sg@newstorychurch.com for more information.

View the region on the map that is closest to where you would like to meet. From the list of groups available in that region, select the group you are interested in.  Then simply click the "Join a Group" button.  Fill out the form, and the small group leader should be in contact with you shortly.  Our hope is to see you commit to a group and become a vital member of a small group.

In order to promote spiritual community and personal growth through meaningful Christian relationships, people in each small group will make these five commitments together at least for one year. 1) Attendance: to give priority to the small group gatherings, 2) Acceptance: to accept one another with God’s affirming love, 3) Participation: to actively participate in the group, 4) Confidentiality: to keep personal sharing confidential, 5) Accountability: to give permission to hold one another accountable.
