Student Scholarships
Thank you for visiting the NewStory Scholarship page. Applications are closed for now for the 2023-24 school year. Please check back again periodically for the next round of scholarship awards!
The NewStory Scholarship began in response to the continued systemic racism and injustices impacting communities of color. Over time, we have made the decision to expand this opportunity to a need-based grant to students of all races. We hope that this scholarship will empower students to pursue their academic dreams and make an impact on their communities!
Requirements:
*Student who is enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college, or trade or vocational school.
*Must not be in graduate school.
*Must live in or attend school in Los Angeles.
Application Deadline:
April 19th, 2024
Scholarship Award:
Ranging from $500 to $2,000 per recipient.
Scholarship Coaching
If you would like assistance to fill out this application, please email scholarship@newstorychurch.com and we will set you up with a coach.
Interviews will be conducted in mid to late April with recipients announced soon after. The award ceremony being held on Sunday, May 5 at NewStory Church in Downtown Los Angeles.
