NewStory LA Student Scholarships
Thank you for visiting the NewStory Scholarship page. Applications are now open for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The eligibility requirements for the NewStory Scholarship have recently been updated to realign closely with the vision of our church to reach 1% of LA in His name.
The NewStory Scholarship began in response to the continued systemic racism and injustices impacting communities of color. The scholarship evolved to expand this opportunity to a need-based grant to students of all races. We hope that this scholarship will empower students to pursue their academic dreams and make an impact on communities in Los Angeles.
Requirements:
*Student who is enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college, or trade or vocational school.
*Must not be in graduate school.
*Must live within a 10-mile radius of NewStory Church LA.
*College or school in attendance must be located in the city of Los Angeles.
Application Deadline:
October 15, 2025
Scholarship Award:
Ranging from $500 to $2,000 per recipient.

Interviews will be conducted in early to mid-November, with recipients announced soon after. The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at NewStory Church in Downtown Los Angeles.
